What Is The Emissions Update?

Volkswagen/Audi group manipulated their ECU software to fool pre-production tests into thinking that their vehicles produced fewer emissions than they did. When they were found out, a software update/recall was released to owners of affected vehicles. This fix was for 1.2, 1.6 and 2.0 TDI Audi, SEAT, Skoda and Volkswagen vehicles. Some owners who have had the recall software update are reporting vehicle part malfunctions and issues.
